How it All Began...
M&7 children’s clothing brand was inspired by the love of a mother, Ms Ren, who saw a gap in the market for children’s wear that equally prioritised sophisticated design, comfort, and quality, allowing children to look and feel their best. She struggled to find clothing from first–line brands that looked elegant and used high-quality cashmere and natural fabrics in their production for children’s wear to provide the comfort, warmth, durability, and beauty that she sought for her own two children.
Ms Ren decided to establish her own brand that would become a benchmark brand in the children’s wear industry due to its uncompromising pursuit of high quality, luxury, and exceptional design. She named the children’s clothing brand after her own two children. Aligning the brand with that closet to her heart.
Ms Ren’s eye for detail, passion for high-end fashion and love for rare, natural materials that are kind to the planet led her to meet the leading-edge design team in New Zealand where her design concept was turned into a reality.
CASHMERE SERIE
Our signature use of cashmere fabric is at the heart of our design concept. Cashmere is referred to as ‘soft gold’ in inner Mongolia and is expensive and rare to produce; incomparable to any other fabric with its uniquely soft, skin-friendly, delicate and durable nature. M&7 clothing is artisan-made using nature and materials that are kind to the planet because we care about the world our children are being raised in. Adhering to a sophisticated sense of style, our simple but impeccably made designs have a modern Vaesthetic with an elegant nod to vintage design.
